What comes to mind when you hear the word hypnosis?

Do you think mind control, quacking like a duck, and thoughts of fear?

Or do you think deep relaxation, powerful transformation, and overcoming fears with ease?

Have you heard about the amazing results others have achieved through hypnotherapy but are scared to try it for yourself?

Hypnotherapy has an interesting reputation to say the least, but in reality, it is a very powerful healing method that can be used to make quick and permanent changes in your life with ease.

It's time to bust the common hypnotherapy misconceptions so more people can feel safe and comfortable using this amazing tool to their advantage.

    1. A hypnotherapist will be able to control my mind.

...NO WAY! All hypnosis is self-hypnosis. You are always in 100% control of your mind and your experience. No one else can ever force you into thinking certain thoughts or believing certain beliefs. You are in charge here!

    2. In hypnosis, I will perform embarrassing acts.

Again, all hypnosis is self-hypnosis. You allow in what you want to and are ready to and you disregard what is not.

When you see people at hypnosis shows who get hypnotized and do silly or embarrassing acts, some part of them wants to do that and is available for it. Maybe they enjoy making people laugh or want to connect with their inner child, but they are in control and letting it happen.

Also, Hypnotherapy is a tool used for personal growth. A Hypnotherapist would never guide you to perform embarrassing acts. Hypnotherapists give you empowering suggestions about achieving your goals and embodying your best self. They are way too busy guiding you towards becoming the highest version of you to waste time having you quack like a duck.

    3. I have never been in hypnosis before.

This is another hard NO. Hypnosis is a very natural, trancelike state that you are in multiple times every single day.

    A FEW EXAMPLES INCLUDE:

    • The first and last 15 minutes of your day when you are half asleep and half awake.
    • When you drive from point A to point B and have no recollection of how you got there.
    • When you are so engulfed in a movie or TV show that you are barely aware of what is actually going on around you.

    4. Hypnosis is a "Miracle Cure."

Hypnosis is definitely one of the quickest and most effective ways to create lasting change in your life but it is definitely not a miracle cure.

If you want to change or up-level your life, miracle cures, quick fixes, and shortcuts should be avoided at all costs.

If you really want to transform, HYPNOTHERAPY + ACTION will get you to where you want to go quickly and easily but it is by no means a miracle cure that requires zero effort from you.

    5. I can't be hypnotized.

Not true. Everyone is hypnotizable. As mentioned above, hypnosis is a natural state that you are in multiple times a day every single day. As long as you are open to it and willing to change, you will 100% be able to be hypnotized.

    BING! BANG! BOOM!

THOSE 5 MYTHS ARE OFFICIALLY... BUSTED.

Now that you have a clear picture of hypnosis and how powerful it is when it comes to transforming your mind, it's time to think of the areas of your life that you feel stuck in.

What habits are holding you back?

What thoughts are keeping you small?

What old, negative memories are still impacting you and how you live your life today?

These are the areas where you can use Hypnotherapy to finally break through those old patterns so that you can finally flourish into your best, sexiest, happiest, most badass self.
